But that doesn't mean we shouldn't try. We may surprise ourselves. And you may find that you're still yourself, just a better and more understanding self than you used to be.Philiphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11222356701669038827noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6262254912609009066.post-77265002973441496802014-02-25T14:22:39.999-08:002014-02-25T14:22:39.999-08:00"Understand each other." That will prove to me that you came to the blog and discussed it with your parents. I'll make a copy of it and make sure it gets to her. For real... I won't forget. I also heard them discussing the issues at various time throughout the day. I find it very interesting to hear what they think about each of these topics. Discussions about what it means to be a "real" or "good" Christian also come up quite a bit in Science. Just the other night Bill Nye a scientists that all of my students are familiar with because we watch his episodes in class had a debate with a well known Creationist, Ken Ham, who is the founder of the Creation Museum in Kentucky over the topic of Evolution. It was quite the debate. I'm curious about your views on Evolution. I'm offering extra credit in science for discussing your views on Evolution and Christianity with your parents. Write a short summary of your discussion with your parents and have them sign the bottom of the page. Bring it in to class tomorrow for credit.

--Mrs. HigleyAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
